"Why do we need a site about this ?", you might ask. Easy: Because I say so :-) To be honest: When I first got on the net I found out that there were many sites dealing with whatever stuff you go for, but no site about this special liking of mine. So I built this page for people like me (if there are some out there...). So if you are into this stuff as well, let me carry you away...

Rule 34: Origins

The more innocuous and unassuming the manifestation of rule 34, the happier it makes me.

Creepy.

But comprehensive...which just makes it creepier: In this section I will upload a new arm carry pic made using the 3D program Poser with each update. Click on the thumbnail to go to a large version of the picture !

I remember getting annoyed when I made a similar sort of site to this and everyone assumed I had some bizarre sexual fetish when it was more some sort of horrible psychotic compulsion, and I was going to get all outraged on behalf of whoever made this, but then I looked at the links page and, well, yeah...

For some reason, this site made me totally rethink the meaning behind Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence".

Close enough from Kayne and Lady Gaga.

Until I saw the poser pics, I just assumed it was a photographer who was sick of a cliched pose.

Ew.

Somewhere on an alien planet is a site devoted to women carrying unconscious horrible space monsters. The subtext is that these women are a threat to the chastity of the horrible space monsters and that the horrible space monster society as a whole possesses ownership and therefore responsibility over the chastity of said horrible space monster.

Which is utter bunk, of course.

I didn't read the article, but just dropped in to reuse my "it was then that I carried you" joke.

I linked to this in a comment back in June. And it's as icky as I remember.

I'm imagining this guy on his wedding night; as he slumps on the bed, exhausted, his bride says, "Um, honey, I think that you were just supposed to carry me over the front door, and just once... honey?"

I don't understand. I invoked Rule 34, so we're immediately talking about fetishes.

Why are people somehow shocked or appalled that they link to other sleep-related fetish sites or that they make crappy images in poser?
Half of the internet is founded on people making awkward and amateur shrines to their fetishes.

It's that it is such an inccuous and simple sounding fetish that makes it delightfully startling. Like, what, no eels? Cool.

"What? No eels?" is the new "Meh."

The thing that grossed me out was that I was looking through it and suddenly got struck over the head by that it was his fetish.

It's like if you found a trunk full of beautiful landscape prints of the American West and then your uncle yells, "MITTS OFF MY PORN, KIDS!"

Men do seem to like to carry women, though. As far as I know - and how would I know - this has never happened when I was unconscious.

Also, from a raw marketing standpoint, this cliche pose is a good way to get a whole female body on a movie poster or a book cover, and to leave the male hero out of the picture.

There seems to be an imbalance here - you have monsters carrying women [36] and monsters carrying men [2].
