Tokyo/Glow A time-lapse photographic narration of an illuminated traffic light man who leaves his light and walks around Tokyo. [Direct link to video on YouTube - more info here than on actual site]
Wow. That was visually and musically beautiful; the exercise of patience it must have required is breathtaking. Thank you!

Neato!

While some of the closer shots look as if they were shot in time lapse, a lot of the distant shots look like he was inserted in, especially the long shot in the intersection. I'd imagine had he really done it, he would have been road pizza.

Lumitectura—Music video about the relation of light, music and architecture. About 50 different masks, which define where the under-layed movie is going to appear on the screen. This makes it possible to have multiple light situations in the same moment.

I was pretty impressed. It was better without the punchline, though.

Wow - I love night photography in Tokyo, but this was so far beyond just that...! Absolutely amazing. Thanks for bringing beauty to my day.

Im sorry, but I've seen credit card commercials with more wit and inspiration than this.
Meh.

Yeah, that was very well done. Didn't like the music, really, but the film was killer.

Definitely road monjayaki. Gooey and globby and unappealing.

In retrospect, I would have liked it much more if I hadn't learned how it was done, and left myself with the illusion that the glow-guy had actually v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y, in real time, worked his way across the intersection through multiple traffic-light cycles. I mean, it's not like he wouldn't have been pretty visible and easy to avoid. Then again, I've never been a pedestrian in Tokyo so maybe I'm asking the utterly impossible.

Almost twenty years since I've been to Tokyo, and it still was so familiar...I'm going to have to round up some free time and go back for a while.
