Our new album’s gonna be fucking 100 times better than the iPad. With this record you’re going to be interfacing with your soul in ways that have never happened before.

Can I interface with my crotch instead?

I'm debating whether that "Sketchy Santa" link at the bottom of the page is worth an FPP on its own.

Pro tip: it's not.

Dare I also say (for those who like it) that he has a fun Twitter?

In order to qualify as awesome, I think he'd have to have posted more than eight times in 2010.

Oof. I'm sorry, but the Awesome Qualifiers this year set the bar at 7 times. He just made it in.

Theorem: Anything that occurs less frequently than every 2 weeks is not awesome.

The decemberist annoy me, but i'll admit it's because of a girl i no longer talk to.

She loved colin meloy (i assume she still does) so i can't help but find him to be an annoying prat who tries way too fucking hard.

Anyone who goes to a Decemberists concert and doesn't have a least a little fun is soulless. Yes, I said it.

Actually, I would love it if all Tumblrers and Twitterers posted infrequently, every couple of weeks or maybe, I dunno, JUST WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GREAT.

Then I'd follow 1,000 cool people and get a stream of pure gold.

Tumblr: Because you're too lazy for blogspot

Colin Meloy is endearing to me, because, unlike so many people that kind of burst onto the scene, and then follow up with sophmoric imitations of themselves, he started out kind of weak and kept building.

I didn't know he was so handsome, I guess that's given him the confidence to get up there despite his lateral lisp.

And I, for one, think his lyrics actually are precious.
