The Cats' Portrait Gallery. Start at the ground floor and work your way up through twenty-five storeys of feline portraiture.
The About page: "Efforts were made, in drawing, to capture loveliness, sweetness and liveliness of cats, as well the emotions and affections of their owners, that are not often captured by photographs. [...] When I find attractive models in websites, I may ask the permission of the owners to paint them." Special bonus (though mostly in Japanese): Why don't you paint your cats?

If by loveliness, sweetness and liveliness they mean "their dualistic nature as both graceful and affectionate pets and little furry serial killers" then yes, they do capture that very well.

From the second link there, it's Lute Cat! Could this be the first-ever drawing of the creature made famous by the deletion reason for this thread? I think I still prefer the subsequent artwork from none other than MeFi's Owntm The Whelk, though. Google does, too, it being the #1 search result for "lute cat".

I got four and I don't even know how that happened -- and I never had four of any animal in my life -- and bunnies are way cuter and sweeter than cats...

Kittehs! Japanese Kittehs!
We are again trying to acquire kittehs. You'd think it would be easy, but it's not. I am waiting for some feral cats my girlfriend is taking care of to give birth so we can adopt a couple of the kittens. Also, we are contributing to having all the others neutered.
