Also, Wikipedia says it was directed by someone named Michael J. Dennis and that Friedlander was the sound guy on it.

Ha! The first joke we hear is stolen from Henny Youngman.

According to the credits, Friedlander was the videographer. I just thought that was a more useful point of reference than the not especially notable Michael J. Dennis.

I sometimes worry if I ever get any kind of fame then all the stupid shit I did in college and HS will pop-up cause it *just* when digital media and the internet was starting to put everything on it. I've been the sound-guy, videographer, shocked patron #2 in a number of things.

Then I remember this will never happen.

This is pretty good tho.

The joke about killing the president just killed me. I'd never heard it before, but it's probably the best joke I've ever heard Rock tell. It's amazing how good he was even way back then.

Bill Cosby, was a hero to most,
But he never meant shit to me.

Motherfuck him and Howard Stern

Love the Kid and Play haircut. We all were fashion victims in '89 and early 90s.

I always forget how YOUNG most stand-ups are when they start. It takes so long to get noticed and your "breaks" more often then don't don't lead anywhere for years.
