At this very moment there are about 50 elementary and grade school kids with electric guitars just outside my window, at some sort of musical mini-street-fair. The tablature chords are printed on giant 4' x 8' cards, and the songs are being led from the stage. They just finished Smoke on the Water, and here comes Yellow Submarine.

I'm so sorry StickyCarpet. Though it doesn't sound quite as bad as the time I had to sit in on an orchestral rehearsal featuring 400 fourth graders playing along to the last movement of Dvorak 9 on recorders.

An even cooler thing in a similar vein is Rock and Roll Camp for Girls. If you haven't seen Girls Rock, you really should. It's pretty great.
