Holy effing cow that was incredible! Once I figured out what the hell was going on. I was waiting for Ian McKellan. I love the eyeball at the end.

This guy is a genius.

Josh Robert Thomas is not the guy doing Ian McKellen. That's Hunter Davis.

You are totally right monju!! I messed that one up. I was so enamored by the Ian and Morgan impersonations that I didn't even realize it was the wrong guy!! Can a mod clean this up please?

oh my god this is the greatest thing ever.

His Charles in Charge is pretty hilarious too.

That being said, there's something about his Fat Cat routine that's just killing me.

There's something odd about his McKellen videos--I think he's pitchshifting the audio.

Nothing against Josh but Hunter was definitely who merited the FPP. Sorry for the mix up.

I would buy him a beer. And I'm cheap.

And just for fun: Sir Ian, On Acting.

Hunter Davis has the voice down pretty good, but that mugging is really distracting, even though I can see McKellen in it. My favorite McKellen impersonator is McKellen himself; he played an impersonator when he hosted SNL--IIRC, the "impersonator"'s Gandalf was really good, but his Magneto sucked, although I may be reversing those.

Yes, Halloween Jack, you had it right. And the best part was he was introduced as the local Dr. Who impersonator, and did the whole sketch dressed as Tom Baker, wig and all. When asked how he got into Dr. Who impersonation, he said he was the only local who could do an English accent.

Oh, you wacky YouTube commenters...

I would literally give my pinky finger to have sex with you, and during coitus you bust out Sir Ian McKellen on me. I could die a happy man.

spec80: "Click this, it makes it better."

Maybe it's the two or three glasses of wine, but I think this is the best thing I've ever seen, ever<>.

I had somewhat of a crappy day today, the "Click this, it makes it better" has me in tears laughing. Much appreciated!

This guy is totally and utterly awesome. I've been writing in my notebook all day Mr. Helmutdog Robert Thompson . Catchy, no? *sigh

It bothers me that he gets some of the lyrics wrong - the voice impression is pretty good though.

Woohoo.

I think he is indeed lipsynching to his own prerecorded voice in the videos. Amazing voice, though.

also, though it starts slowly, his bit about scientology is funny.

So, strictly speaking that would be Hunter Davis doing an impression of Sir Ian McKellen playing Gandalf doing an interpretation of Will Smith reading the song he recorded as The Fresh Prince.
And people wonder how a filename could ever run up against the 226 character limit...
