That "Sorry I'm Late" is the lamest thing I've ever seen.

The first sketch is so bad I was convinced this was a self-link, but it's not, and so I shall give the others a chance.

Astro Zombie: "The first sketch is so bad I was convinced this was a self-link, but it's not, and so I shall give the others a chance."

My thought exactly. What a disappointment. But perhaps there is treasure among the dreck. I'll explore tonight at home.

Yeah, after watching the first one I'm guessing this is a contest where third graders submit skits and adults act them out?

Self-link

I assure you it was not. But I also assure you that the first sketch is actually pretty funny so either one of us is lying or there are eddies in the time/space continuum.

I thought it was kind of funny.

Chatroulette Freak Show was acceptable.

Whoever comes next, I assign you Plan B-Minus. Report back.

I had a hell of a time getting any of the videos to load on atom.com, but I found a few on youtube and they weren't much better than "Sorry I'm Late".

I only watched half of "Windjammer Restaurants Employee Orientation Video", but I got the gist of it: the 80's were ridiculous. The writers of the short are the first people to notice this.

If I interpret the tournament rules, these guys actually get paid for the number of views their movies get? Or are they just two data points put right next to each other? I have to agree. "Sorry I'm Late" is pretty lame, and I would be upset if I contributed to their booty by clicking on this link.

Oh, and Boo? Plan B-Minus is also not-at-all good.

The 'Hipster Job' link goes to a 1-second blank video. Is this some sort of metajoke/reference that I'm too uncool to get?

So was the gorilla thing was a flash sideways? I'm confused.

The real metric is how many viewers bailed halfway through. That should knock OFF a point. Righteously for most all I might add.

I thought the "sorry I'm late" one was pretty funny, especially as a user-generated video.

Oh wait, I forgot I'm on the internet where the point is to sit in a chair and bitch about other people who actually make things. My bad, everyone.

WWJD is funny, well done.
Die Hard, I Love My Wife was dumb but I laughed.
Plan B- just came off as slut shaming.
Expiration was good, that is how I approach milk.
and I thought Chat Roulette Freak Show was quite amusing.

But how did Sorry, I'm Late! end up above the fold?

As far as Solon and Thanks, I think I'm allowed to not like everything other people create.

There. I have metarecontextualized your complaint. What now?

This is a golden opportunity for some of the creative, funny Mefites to get together and create an awesome, funny video. We can then all vote on it and donate the money to some worthwhile cause, like saving girls from human traffickers or helping out loquacious or, well, whatever!

So, you know, get on that, you funny people.

The Pooljumpers one does a pretty good job of nailing the film festival rock and roll documentary trailer.

So, what did happen to his face?

Okay, the guys who made Pooljumpers NAILED it. Great video. Also, Hipster Job and Expiration were pretty funny. But The Bear, the Cloud and God was pretty horrible. Still, this post doesn't deserve the panning it's getting.
