I don't understand what this has to do with the "dot-com fiz-out." It looks like pictures of people and details of San Francisco to me. How does the dot-com part fit in? Or is the assumption that all the people in the pictures worked at dot-coms and are now unemployed?

ditto...I kept looking for friends, or maybe even my wife and I, in the random shots of SF. If I did recognize anyone, then I would know it's representative of the "dot-com fiz-out".

This is something about the dotcom fiz-out. Like Meg, I don't see any underlying e-failure theme with this one though.

I thought the images were indicative of the mood of the guy taking the pictures, a dot-bomber.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

i apologize for the description. it isn't the best one could come up with at 8am. many featured characters worked in the "industry", and yes many of the photos are set in san francisco. forgive me.
