Skye recently joined back up with Morcheeba, and together they released the band's 7th album, Blood Like Lemonade

I like Morcheeba, this group shows up on Pandora when you make a Massive Attack, list. The group I really like that I found by accident on Pandora, is Kosheen. I know this is tangental, but their imagery was Native American, so I thought hey! But they are out of Bristol, England. The album Kokopelli, has some great sounds, and Damage is also great. I will have to listen to Skye Edwards' stuff. I thought that Morcheeba was just one person. I listen with one half of my mind, the other half is somewhere...

Whatever you may think of the song stylings, that woman sings in tune, an increasingly distinguishing feature.

Morcheeba kind of lost me around '04 or '05, but I've always loved her voice.

Wow! Her covers are amazing! Any place I can download them? (iTunes didn't have them)

Funny, I heard her cover of Feel Good, Inc at H&M the other day and had no idea it was hers.

Morcheeba have been one of my favorite bands for a long time. I loved the Sky and Daisy periods equally--both are really great vocalists. I saw Morcheeba with Skye on, I think, the Fragments of Freedom tour when they came through NYC. Fantastic.

I had no idea about the new album! Can't wait to hear it. Thanks for posting.

Morcheeba is the sound of a 90s summer for me. Thanks for the post.

One of my favorite songs ever contrasts Sky's voice with the singer from Lambchop.

There's nothing so satisfying as discovering a new genre and realizing that it perfectly describes a kind of music you had no word for before.

(I've only heard one Morcheeba song, but I could tell it was unique enough to require new lingo.)

Wow. Thanks for this. I totally gave up on Morcheeba when she left and I have no idea why I didn't just bother to hunt down her stuff instead.

Divabeat: her cover of Gorillaz is only available on her myspace page (so, no downloading), but the other two are part of the comp Hollywood, Mon Amour

I used to love Morcheeba, and loved Skye's cover of Feel Good Inc. Had no idea she'd rejoined the group. Now I need to listen to the album.

A Well Deserved Break is on my driving around in the car CD, so I listen to that when I'm not listening to the radio.
