I'd have preferred if this was referred to as "Dollar Billustrations".

These can't really be called illustrations, can they? He used a razor blade and sculpted forms and patterns. I am guessing he used some kind of lino knife for the top one, which is the only good idea from the bunch.

If someone tried this with the paper money of the United Kingdom, they would be thrown in the Tower of London dungeons (and quite right too!) ;-)

So you're saying he took a dollar, did some complicated stuff to it that the average person could never understand nor replicate, and somehow turned around and sold it for many times its worth?

Here is another great article on the guy, which references some BP logo work that he did back 2007 -- I am still searching for the image. This guy is a genius!
