The FBI is pure evil. It's going to take more than a new leader dedicated to "PR and image repair" to flush out this sewer of authoritarian egos and corrupted ideals.

It is worse than this article suggests! we now know that under Reagan and Bush (father), the FBI has been tracking and spying on those considered "liberal." And that the FBI spy (Hansen) when not spying for Russia was one of those tracking liberals in our country. And that in a globalized world, where controls are required, various "enforcement" agencies begin to meld into one and no longer have separate turfs etc etc.

Personally, I'd like a liberal tracking device. You know, so I could walk up to one of my comrades and ask if he'd like to discuss smashing the totalitarian regime over hummus.

The FBI is pure evil.

Except for Mulder and Scully, of course.

Chuq, chuq, chuq. Mulder and Scully are part of the PR and image repair program.

Well, after viewing the last two years of the X-Files, I'd have to say their image repair program has a few bugs in it still.

OMG....How many friggin times do I have to say that TEMPEST is the art of shielding electromagnet emanations. And don't get me started on the FUD contained within this article. Someone taking the plot of "Enemy of the State" a little too literally (while 85% of the technology is real, they wouldn't be using them so rashly against US citizens)

Cool, Van Eck phreaking. I knew when I read Cryptonomicon it was only a matter of time before we heard about the Feds using it.
