Music video for Tim Halperin's song "She Runs" - one continuous shot. Cute with a homemade feel. I can't believe people have the energy to make things like this in the Texas heat!

Interesting...and well done...

here's a set of photos from the set.

My favorite music video done all in one continuous shot*: "Lucas with the Lid Off"

*Disclaimer: there might actually be some hidden edits

He has a nice voice. (I'm being positive today)

I cry foul, however, on this one-take business. There are clear cuts (wipes that match the movement of the set or camera) between each scene.

Yeah, I don't really buy the "one complete take" thing, but I like the song. Thanks!

And... what's with the remark about the Texas heat? I thought it would have been filmed outside or something.

Atom Eyes: I still like that song but had forgotten the video. Interestingly, it was directed by Michel Gondry - of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and now working on the new Green Hornet movie.

Gondry also did the one shot video for Radiohead's Knives Out.

Gondry has a log history of one-shot videos:
White Stripes - Denial Twist
Radiohead - Knives Out
Cibo Matto - Sugar Water
Gary Jules - Mad World
Kylie Minogue - Come Into My World

And while these two obviously have edits, they are in a one-shot style:
Beck - Cellphone's Dead
Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar

There's gotta be others that I can't remember off the top of my head...

Ack, how could I forget Massive Attack - Protection?! It figures I wouldn't remember one of my favorite songs....

Other than the lame lyrics about health care, that was a very enjoyable three and a half or so minutes.

Fun video, and decent song. Reminds me of Ben Folds.

Why are people so skeptical with the one take business? Looked continuous to me...
