Hi! Monkey!

Hi! Monkey! is one of the funniest, cutest sites I've seen in a long time. I was really surprised it hadn't been 'filtered before (correct me if I'm wrong). If you need a little break in your day for something goofy, it's a good place to turn. Personal fave: the pictures of him going Trick-or-Treating...

It's like Mr. Rogers for web addicts. Great stuff.

I linked to him on my weblog last Thanksgiving complimenting him on his skills with a Cuisinart for the cranberry relish recipe (this is me not self-linking) and he sent me some very cute email back. He's a wonderful monkey.

There is something strangely compelling about photos of a stuffed animal interacting with society. I'm not sure what it is.

I love monkeys. I've never seen a bad stuffed monkey. I have never seen a bad monkey website. I've never had a bad monkey experience. The "Would you like to buy a monkey?" scene almost redeemed the movie Cabin Boy, monkeys are so cool. Why are monkeys so damned cool?

I'm really losing it, aren't I? Oh well. Thanks for the link, bcwinters.

If you really think that, you should check out Abdul the Great. He's even been a presence at the last two SXSW conferences.
