The Twilight Zone Introduction

Anyone else slightly wierded out by seeing him in colour and in an informal setting?

Can't wait to see the series on Blu-ray this fall. Should look beautiful (well, the filmed ones, at least).

Also, everyone should pronounce the word "robot" as ro-bit. That's the first command I'll make when I'm king of the world.

This is awesome, thanks. Rod Serling was so far ahead of his time.

The top of his face was a weird shade of red. Some effect of lighting + damaged film?

It used to be a lot more acceptable to drink liquor with lunch.

This is great. That wonderfully familiar voice. I grew up with the Twilight Zone series and recently I acquired all episodes and methodically re-watched them all; taking in much more than I did the first time (and subsequent re-runs).

I like his homage to Kubrick ("he would put us out of business in two days of shooting").

Nice find, Artw.

So sad that he died so young at fifty. You'd think that he had many more stories to get out.

The quip at the beginning about smoking made me more than a little sad

I will keep that image of him smoking in my mind for sometime
His life long smoking habit was considered a likely cause of his death.

I also cringed when he quipped about god telling him to quit smoking. To be fair, apparently both his father and grandfather died young of heart disease, so there's a decent chance it was hereditary. But still.
