Excellent! I just discovered "LOLdwell" via RossScott's "Future World Problems" meme (which I discovered via the oddly named webcomicker Obsidian Abmormal.

Anyway, I just finished running through some of Tanner's previous endeavors (writing and/or drawing) for CollegeHumor.com, including "If Websites Were Pets", "If Superheroes Were Hipsters", "Foursquare Gets Judgmental", "Comic Book University" and "Cartoon University"* as well as a Batman joke so obvious I was amazed I hadn't seen it before.

My opinion of CollegeHumor.com improved measurably (but I'm still afraid to look at anything he wasn 't involved with).

*am I the only one who went AWRIIIGHT when I saw Daggett from Angry Beavers and Krumm from Aaah! Real Monsters!?

In the same way that this is an intriguing way to learn about history.

Kate Beaton (linked by Ahab) has just about cornered the market on Historical Webcomics, but there is still room for healthy competition. Which reminded me to check in on the irregularly-updated Lovelace & Babbage.

I'm pretty certain Mr. Loldwell has Portland ties. Why? Because "Hipster Predictions" depicts what has to be our local unicycling bagpiper (If there's other unicycling bagpipers out there, i don't want to know.).

Also loving these from the Loldwell archives: Super Mario Inception and how to make pancakes.
