Nice find. I've always loved interesting title sequences. It was particularly nice that they hit a lot of highlights but also went with title cards from less obvious/well-known movies like The Adventures of Prince Achmed (which I saw a few months ago and was entranced by).

See also the Movie Titles Stills Collection. (Oh and "Intolerance" isn't the greatest silent movie. It was F.W. Murnau's "Sunrise". Hands down. Title card here.

The first title sequence I ever really noticed (and still my favorite) was 101 Dalmatians (the animated version, obviously).

that's funny, I just caught the opening of Alien last night on TCM. hadn't seen it in a while and was thinking how badass the title sequence was. now I know who created it.
