That 70's Porn

Vintage porn pics, with the actors removed. Also, The Promulgator has a similar idea. Probably NSFW despite the censoring, mostly owing to the hideous decor. posted by bwg (30 comments total) 3 users marked this as a favorite

uh...I just came here for the vintage porn....

A friend of mine had an idea a few years ago for a site called 100percentboob.com. It would consist of pornographic videos and photos with everything blacked out except for the boobs. The logo would be 100% with boobs for the zeros.

The domain appears to be available, so one of you crafty kids should get on that. The 11-15 year male demographic is sorely under served.

If there is one thing I love more than porn with no porn in it, it's a link to porn with no porn in it with no link in it. Thanks!

This is just Garfield minus Garfield gone wild.

Burhanistan: "I'm not sure where these originated from, but that blog is probably linkspam. It was all over Digg a few days ago"

In preparing for this I did a Googl search for Von Brandis and it seems that these came from a Flickr set that no longer exists.

It looks like an iPod commercial from France, or some other non-Puritanical place.

These are fairly old. I remember reading somewhere that Von Brandis was very interested in the interior decoration in porn films and that part of this project was to draw attention to things like the curtains, the bedspreads, the carpets, etc.

I'm not even sure what the point of it is. I mean, in the ones linked off the previous post, at least the backgrounds gave some subtext for the photos -- like, why would you take a porno pic in a garage? These are just generic scenes, perhaps garish colors, but not much detail.

Who ever spent the time to white out the figures -- an you know it had to be an awful lot of time to mask them out -- totally wasted it.

Von Brandis's original statement, which didn't make it through to this kinda creepy site.
I created this series in 2003 from images found on the web for a project about pornography and never used it.

These interiors are too fantastical not too share and in combination with the invisible pornography creates very interesting visuals.

Not dissimilar from work by a friend called Tracy Lynch and the original obscene interiors.

The album covers in the background of one of the photos: Sticky Fingers, Wheels of Fire, McCartney's first solo album, Isaac Hayes' ... To Be Continued. That's vintage, all right.

Still porn.

I um.. recognize some of the actors just by their silhouettes. This is a source of both pride and embarrassment. That is all.

creepy. Reminds me of those child molester pictures released by the FBI where they airbrushed out the people hoping viewers would recognize the settings.

I can make out most of what is going on in the photos, but this one has me completely stumped. The guy is obvious, but which way up/round/over is the woman?

I, too, noticed the absence of Garfield.

It's like someone photographed my almost-entirely-faded memories of long-gone sexual activity and superimposed them on tacky seventies backdrops just to really rub in their irretrievable remoteness and ultimate emptiness. Probably.

She's on her back. Her left arm is up above her head and her right arm is raised and bent, so her right hand is either behind her head or next to it. Her right leg is probably vertical, with her right foot against his left shoulder.

Nothing starts the day off right like some morning porn analysis.

Old old old.
Naomi Uman did this some time ago, and to better effect, in her terrific experimental film Removed, which I'm sure I've linked to before on the MeFi.

And Justin Jorgensen beat out everyone up there in the thread when he published "Obscene Interiors" on his blog in 1999. The captions still make me laugh.

There's a French series of online shorts called Du hard ou du cochon, featuring highly porny situations where no sex ever quite manages to happen. Apparently it's based on something James Gunn made for Spike.com called PG Porn.
