Too late for this Halloween, but some of these super high quality masks are super realistic. So realistic, a robber supposedly used one to commit several robberies last spring in Tampa, Florida (USA) before he was caught. (They also have a bunch of scary masks, too.)

"You are the type of villain we read about in novels and see in the movies,'' Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Melissa Powers told Zdzierak in court last Friday.

That's a bit of a stretch.

Investigators believe Zdzierak likely removed the mask between the robberies in order to confuse the cops who believed they were looking a black man.

Really, you think? That's some Sherlock Holmes level deduction right there.

Pfft. Amateur. You want to get robberies done around here, dress up like a ninja.

Is there a woman alive who could resist the amazing good looks of Handsome Guy?

Answer: yes.

Three million bond? Is this a comic book villain or a bank robber with a face mask?

"The Thug" reminds me of someone but I can't quite think of who. Character from DS9, perhaps? Not the Grand Nagus; doesn't have the ears for it, obviously.

There are a couple videos out there of people wearing Handsome Guy masks.

I don't recommend them.

Lobes. He doesn't have the lobes for it.

These really are well made; I like how they extend down to the chest and how they move with the wearer's facial expressions. Looks like this might be where Harmony Korine got the masks for the terrible Trash Humpers (previously).

These are awesome, but you'd have to rob banks to afford them.

So, in a previous thread I commented about how I was pissed about my mask last year and was just gonna go crazy with my mask this year. I just finished it when you posted this! VOILĂ€.

you wanna have fun, but very bad taste? simple wear one of these masks in the front passenger seat and keep your mask looking at the driver, and when passing a car with kids, slowly turn your head and directly look at the other car, that should leave an impact ( not good memory) with the kids, how do i know? that happened to me when i was 13 years old and that experience was ugly, not like the time of my first kiss with the fairer sex.

That's certainly less scary than the guy who would drive around following school buses masturbating in his car.

Handsome Guy looks like a Jersey Shore reject.

...wear one of these masks in the front passenger seat...

But that's not how it's done. You put one of these masks backwards on your head (holes for your eyes in back of mask-head), drive away, and stick your head with the facing-backward Handsome Guy (or whatever) out of the window every time someone passes.

That Handsome Guy one reminded me of Max Headroom.

The sad part is I knew before even clicking the link that it would be a white man wearing a black man mask. And the mask being called "the player"?...yuck.

I just happened to watch Mission Impossible 3 last night for the first time, and in the scenes where Cruise wears the Philip Seymour Hoffman mask, they obviously switch over to PSH to give the effect that the disguise technology is perfect. I thought it would have been way more effective to put tom Cruise in as good a mask as technically possible, and have him actually attempt to pull off the switch. Also it would have been nice if the movie didn't totally suck in every other way.

As far as these masks, i din't think the quality is quite there yet, but when it is, i can think of some interesting sociological experiments I'd like to see. like job interviews where you introduce the possibility that the applicant might be wearing a mask to disguise their race/gender/weight/age.

Costume masks don't fit well on ReptoidTom's existing human disguise.
