When Starcraft and Justin Beiber collide.

I'm sorry. I really am.

I have never played Starcraft 2 nor seen it played. And I have never heard the original of whatever song this is parodying.

But I still loved this.

The creators (HuskyStarcraft and KurtHugoSchneider) are giving all the profits (from YT ads and iTunes sales) to charity.

Husky was also previously on the Blue, here and here.

Spoiler: They don't actually collide.

To my disappointment.

Dude, just yesterday I did a 14-pool, 15-hatch fast expand against a terran, that i kept on two bases after he walled off and stopped my roach timing push, then i expanded and took half the map including both gold expo's and I still managed to lose after i thew a 200/200 army at his MMM-ball twice and didn't break him. Terran is imba :(

The truly sad thing is that I have never once played Starcraft, only watched some of Husky's videos, and yet I understood that sentence perfectly.

HuskyStarcraft seems like a genuinely nice guy and following his success has been a gratifying ride. He manages to be positively excited about every game and never says anything mean or disparaging about players, fans or anyone, even when commenting in speed where all filters have to come off.

Yes, i realized when watching the replay that i should have done a baneling drop on his main. while sending some burrowed roaches to his natural. Would have split him up and probably would have been and easy win.

For people who haven't seen it, Justin Bieber's original, Baby, which I think is currently the most-watched Youtube video of all time.

I'm not a Starcraft fan and, except for a the week of Christmas 2002, never have really given the game much chance, but I am unabashedly in love with this song (even if the rest of the album never quite got stuck in my head). Any time a bunch of genius pop producers decide to write vapid pop music for hyperactive youngsters is a good time in my book. I was sad that this cover doesn't include my favorite element, the quarter-note synth that bounces around during the chorus and makes me imagine some guy with big sunglasses who lives in a beach ball, smiling like mad as he presses key after glorious catchy key. It also didn't have Ludacris, but that's a slightly less surprising omission.

I, too, am neither a Starcraft player or a Beiber fan, but my room-mate (who plays hella starcraft - most nights I come home to find him watching commentaries) played this for me a couple days ago, and it's been stuck in my head pretty much solid...
