Interesting how it has to be translated from german to german. German to english doesn't work nearly as well.

This is perhaps the best use of Google translate's german-to-german thus far!

I like to keep my options open

Some dudes on reddit were trying to recreate the Amen Break. Here's my attempt, but there seems to be a ~100 char limit so I left out the second half.

Clearly, the next step is to write a translator to turn Standard Beatbox Notation into Google Beatbox.

I can't figure out why the English phrase shooby doo wop bop becomes "doo wop shooby bop" in Welsh. What is the grammatical significance of "shooby"?

No, an android device with flash should be fine.

delmoi: No, an android device with flash should be fine.

This is an important point: it requires flash even though there is no flash object to click. So, for those of us using ClickToFlash, you'll have to add "translate.google.com" to your whitelist.

Google has apparently caught on, so if you pick German to German translation and you phrase to be translated has no vowels, the label on the button says "beatbox" instead of "listen."
