So how was Fray Day 5?

I attended the Boston Fray Day, and had a great time. Several very different, very talented storytellers. I think this is the first year for Boston (?) so hopefully it will return again next year.

Frad Day isn't over. The Los Angeles Fray Day is tonight. I won't be there- I've got tickets for the Bowl.

An awesome time was had by me me me and many friends at FD5SF. (I hate to bring this up...) Of course, as with any gathering such as this one, accusing fingers were/are pointed at the "a-listers" for just about anything and everything done/said ... but it was damn refreshing to see a whack of folks mention that their notions of a-list snobbery (for lack of a better term) were misconceptions.

I had an amazing time at fray day SF, and I think that Derek did a great job putting the whole event together. However it was rude and silly that many of the evening's "featured performers" did not bother to stay to hear the open mic readers. It's hard to believe a group of people who claim to represent an online "community" couldn't stay around to support their fellow community members' fledgling efforts at story telling. It made me sad. I'm trying not to be too bitter, but I need to say these things.
