"studioBASAR is an architectural studio established in 2006 by Cristi Borcan and Alex Axinte. studioBASAR is a ’search and rescue’ team, acting as an agent of architectural observation and intervention."

Borcan and Axinte find creative solutions to urban problems, for example the Letter Bench: "A linear, discrete intervention, the bench is placed at the non-conflictual limit between the inaccessible legal green square and the abusive parking spot on the alley, using the existing elements: it sits on the concrete curb and is tied to the metal fence."

Wait, did they find inspiration for a corner post (second link above) from Howl's Moving Castle? Awesome!

Weird urban architectural art, I dig it. Thanks!
