I'm all for art, and I'm not really a law and order type but this seems nuts. How many people notice it and call the cops or the coast guard?

I love that the materials are listed as (boat, motor, resin) though. No big deal, just a boat and some resin.

What the video needs is a song called "My Love Love Will Go On."

Ha ha... I fooled you into thinking people were dying!

You know, for Art.

Would make a really cool model boat though.

A great way to meet women interested in rescuing a "fixer-upper" boyfriend.

A possible link: "love love" (לבלב) is the Hebrew for pancreas.

I just finished reading Nathaniel Philbrick's "In The Heart of the Sea," which details the wreck of the Nantucket whaleship Essex, whose crew suffered horribly, reduced to cannibalism, until their rescue 93 days later.

Not sure what I think about this. Seems more like a stunt than a sculpture, and it does not look particularly comfortable to pilot. It evokes a sensation of disturbance and alarm, admittedly mild, on first view. Which I assume was the artist's intent.

Whatever floats your boat, I guess. Or whatever.

The fake door he installed Rue Chapon 4 years ago can be seen on Google Maps.

I like it - reminds me of Michel de Broin's Shared Propulsion Car.

What's really interesting is it's a French artist with a sense of humour.
