I bet this slice of German history has put the local Greens in quite a dilemma.

All they have to do is remove about 3 trees, to get the crook off one of the arms. Then it isn't a symbol, and the enviros stay happy.

Couldn't they water the trees with green food coloring or something? Or does changing the pH balance of the soil only work on flowers? I'm no good at this, though another of my namesake certainly ought to know.

Germany doesnt WANT to remember. The faster it can put the espisode behind it the better -- how many monuments does America have to the genocide of American Indians on the Washington Mall.

The death camps still exist, and they're reminder enough for me. Leaving reminders is one thing, but this is disgusting. Tear it down.
