It was kinda heavy on the userland stuff though, don't you think?

If I were a bitter person (which I'm not...I'm "semi-sweet"), I'd point out with the greatest respect for Doc Searls that I was using the term "weblog-rolling" on The BradLands as early as March 1999, some time before the esteemed Mr. Searls even had a weblog. ;-p

Oh...and, er, shouldn't this go in MetaTalk? Teehee.

Of course it was heavy on Userland, because Dave and Glenn have been palling around for ages, and the reporter's own blog uses Manila. But that's okay, because there have been plenty of weblog stories that have completely ignored Manila. And while the non-Userland A-list is heavy on web design folk, the Userland A-list is heavy on pundits, so that feeds back on itself, and also makes the tone of the resulting article seem much less self-indulgent.

Too bad I haven't been able to get into any *.weblogs.com sites today ...
