Drempels Animated desktop wallpaper software. Floaty nebulous. Nuff said.

It uses very little CPU overhead - so little that it even runs smoothly on a 233 MHz system!

I still have a P-120 on my laptop. Does this guy work for the gaming industry?

Seems to run pretty good, no warping or lagging up my cursor. It's a simple morphing program, 3d stuff works pretty good even with limited system resources.

I don't like how it looks though and I'm sure in the end I don't have that much to spare.

On another note, I recall a friend having an IBM pc (opti-something?) a while ago, it came with these animated icons that were really cool. I think I tried looking around IBM's site once.

You can set animated wallpapers with Active Desktop on Windows, of course it might slow the PC down.

I just can't imagine facing that first thing every morning...

I can't imagine facing that thing after a heavy weekend. "Psychotherapeutic"? -- I'd probably puke, pass out, or freak out and hide in the closet.

...having said that, it certainly is nifty.

I like the look of it, but it seems to be causing a funny effect when i scroll down pages with the rollerball, makes it kinda jumpy - actually its a lot more annoying than funny. Maybe its just me...(but not my Athlon 500 PC?)

Runs great for me. I like the about box - "Be sure to look away every fifteen minutes." I wish it came with more textures though... I don't really wanna hunt around for my own.

I'm gonna have to retract a little on my previous comment: great visuals! Wallpaper feature slowed things down a little but the screensaver is great. Sat and stared for 20 minutes at least, sad yup.
