The request came in late on a Thursday afternoon to (Balitmore) restaurant owner Steve Chu. One of his customers had terminal cancer, and her son-in-law wondered if it would be possible to get the recipe of her favorite broccoli tempura entree so he could make it for her at her home in Vermont... He read the email on March 11 and instantly knew that he could do better... “Thanks for reaching out,” he wrote. “We’d like to meet you in Vermont and make it fresh for you.” (SLWaPo)

“Birds of a Feather” is a beautiful love letter to family and community. The show is doing an excellent job of incorporating human-like nuances into Harry’s character. Little by little, he’s starting to acclimate to his surroundings and, well, become one of them. Naturally, this will provide fodder for internal conflict when Harry inevitably finds his device. For the past nine weeks, I've been eagerly looking forward to reading and discussing WandaVision episodes with y'all and it's been the most fun I've had on the site in while. Tons of insight, jokes, links, backstory and viewpoints in lowkey, yet engaging way. Thank you so much!
Lastpass, my long-time password manager, is starting to restrict free accounts to only desktop or only mobile. This is inconvenient but perhaps it will result in a better user experience since Lastpass stubbornly refuses to autofill my bank app. What I'm looking for is a password manager that syncs between desktop and mobile, and can autofill Android apps (my bank app), Windows apps (like 365), and within desktop and mobile browsers.
I recently bought a Synology NAS to use for storing backups and serving media, but I’m still sitting on lots (& lots, & lots) of unused space (and a smidge of RAM). While I’m very happy with the NAS doing exactly what it’s doing, I’d also like to play with this toy a bit. Do you have a NAS / know a NAS owner that has done something a bit more intense and interesting with their device?

Zero Knowledge Proofs - "By their name, they are proofs that reveal absolutely no information to the verifier... at the end of it, you know nothing more than you knew before except that the claim I made was true... It seems counterintuitive to say the least because we somehow associate conviction with information transfer."[1,2,3]
