Coming soon to an inbox near you, this link(& part 2) to a WTC(& Pentagon) conspiracy page. Planes didn't do all the damage, bombs did in order to exploit the "WTC Golden Goose." Any other conspiracy theories floating around yet?
any bets on how long it takes someone to shut that site down?

One of the main arguments is that the second plane didn't hit the center of the tower, yet that tower fell first. Well, if the center of the fire is in the center of the building, then the suppport beams are going to be heated evenly, and the beams will weaken at approximately the same rate. Whereas if the center of the fire is on the edge of the building, then the beams in the center of the fire will weaken faster than those away from the center. That's why the second tower "fell over," and the first tower collapsed on itself.
Furthermore, if they already had bombs in the towers, there would be no need to hit them with planes. The planes could have been used against other targets. For a terrorist activity, why would they care how the domilition was accomplished??
This is really paranoid.

That's nothing. This page "proves" that Osama bin Laden is connected to the Illuminati and worked with Bush and Clinton to destroy the WTC. It also features more numbers and charts than your average calculus exam.
You just gotta love crackpots.

What do you mean, " Any other conspiracy theories floating around yet?" They started about ten minutes after the attacks and haven't stopped since. None of them are worth spreading here.

Hey! My alma mater is part of the conspiracy. I've eaten meals with the people mentioned, who just a few years ago were on a first-name basis with me. And now I've got a larger-than-most internet presence... Should I fear for my safety?
There's a major hole in the plot, though. There's no such thing as "Green Chili Stew". Green chile stew, though, is mighty tasty.

(In addition to ideas presented by yestter above), the reason the South Tower fell first is that the plane hit at a lower floor. Hence, the I-beams had to support a much greater weight than in the other tower, and didn't require as much time to weaken. The terrorists used the buildings own weight to bring it down.

Although it's impossible to believe the demolition industry was behind it all, the "explosion plume" at Building 7 before the towers fell is a bit curious...

I did get a chuckle out of the bit in part II comparing the image of firefighters erecting a flag to the famous WWII Iwo Jima statue.
One thing I must agree with is the earlier comment about the sheer volume of charts/info. Parts of it seem almost stream of conscious. I imagine the writer (cigarette dangling from his lips) in a dark room furiously typing. Soon, he thinks, the truth will be unleashed!

I was referring to the logistics of the way it fell and how it has to do with supposedly secret evidence. also, how it mentions certain people and contracts implimating that is more involved than what we are led to believe.
don't get me wrong, I thought the site is informative but towards then end, where they mention the possible Clinton involvement, etc. I am not sure whether to laugh and shrug it off like the Enquirer, or to think more into what they are saying.

Well.. its no conspiracy that the Mob is infiltrating and hauling scrap off to its own yards before investigators get a chance to look for body parts and evidence. And dont forget the Gold. More than Fort Knox. Largest gold horde in the world. Maybe thats part III. The Mob/Terrorist/Gold connection.

Fort Knox: 147.3 million ounces, worth $42.20/oz, totalling some $6.2 billion -- the bulk of US federal government gold reserves, its importance greatly reduced since the Bretton Woods agreement half a century ago.
New York Federal Reserve Bank, which holds gold reserves as if in bank accounts for multiple countries and other entities, has as much as $75 billion in precious metals in its vaults. (This is the one robbed in Die Hard III.)
But 7 World Trade was headquarters for the Bank of Nova Scotia, who held between $100 million and $200 million of gold for COMEX and other entities.
