ixi software is a network of experimentalists in the field of computer music and computer music software. Don't miss their cool downloads.

Neat. Although I don't see how any software that pretty could be useful.

Oh yeah! I'm going to check these out when I get home. My first impression is that these guys have a good sense of graphic interface design. Seems like a big limitation not being able to write to disk, though.

Wonderful link, signal. Only two more days until I'm done with this semester, and this page has been moved to the front of the queue of "things for me to do over the summer." Now I'm looking forward to next fall's Electronic Music Synthesis course even more!

Great timing -- my friend and I are gathering field recordings for our next cdr, and I think we'll put these little programs to extensive use. Thanks, signal!

Pretty cool. I messed around a little bit with them. Too bad they don't have an osx launcher yet. :(

Some of them don't really have a intuitive user interface though. Maybe I just need to spend some more time with them & put in my own samples.

You bastard!
I just found these the other day and was keeping them secret.... ARgh...

Well, anyway, a few of them either dont work or are just a real pain to get to work... I've been playing around for awhile....

For all of you other musicians out there, try www.databaseaudio.co.uk for a frequently updated list of links for free audio software.... Damn.... there goes my secret....
