I pulled up to a McDonald's today and saw a sattelite dish on top for Muzak. Their web site looks hip and cool, completely belying that their output is the work of Demon Spawn. One disturbing thing - doesn't the guy in the lower right look a little too much like Pat McKenna from the Red Green Show?

ah, i remember back in the days of grunge, when there were all those 'wacky' stories about the members of seattle bands that worked for muzak ... this, of course, led to the pressing of grunge lite, with easy-listening versions of 'smells like teen spirit' and 'hunger strike.' but it looks like it's out of print, now. boo.

>Their web site looks hip and cool...

Their web site looks like a blank black page in IE5.0/Mac. Hip indeed.

Oh, wait, plinth just linked funny. Here it is.

Wow, that does look like Patrick McKenna. But he doesn't have that funky computer-keyboard-based guitar thing going on like Patrick does.

Easy listening SLTS? Is it anywhere on Napster? How would I tell?

Hmm... why does the muzak site have a page that's just blank and black? weird.

Looks like they used the blank black page as the side and bottom parts of a frameset they used for the site which could have easily been done without frames. Interesting...
