Short films have become a pretty standard propaganda tool in modern American presidential campaigns. When Al Gore set out to make his 2000 campaign film, there was only one guy he wanted for the job -- Spike Jonze.

That still from the movie makes Gore look like some sort of porn star whose head is about to explode.

Does anyone know if this movie can be seen anywhere? Is there a URL for a downloadable version?

Give it a day or two. it'll show up somewheres.

Hmm. A porn star, whose head is about to explode, decides to run for President. Now there's a Spike Jonze flick for which the script would write itself.

Maybe he is taking the piss out of Little Al after all.

Spike Jonze is doing Gore's film, but the puppets are outside the convention?? How did THAT happen?

Some people might argue that Spike Jonze, heir to a vast fortune, urban hipster and celebrity husband, is an ideal poster child for the modern Democratic Party. But they'd be awful cynics, wouldn't they?
