So farewell then, Nasty Nick! Or was he a stoolie all along?

He still has his admirers. But my boss says her flatmate works for Channel 4, right, and drew up the contracts for all the contestants except Nick - because he already had one...

Because the whole world has nothing better to do than read big brother news. I haven't even seen, not do I wish to, the show.

He was the only reason to watch Big Brother, the only one to actually 'play' the game (ie. actually try to influence the outcome by influencing other people's opinion).
He was nasty, but we all love a good cartoon villain and he good at being bad.
So yeah, he was probably a plant.
tiaka - Bah! Humbug!

Does anyone know if the US version of the show features a conniving Bertie (or whatever the US equivalent of a Bertie is)?

the US version has a bunch of plain, frumpy losers who talk about how much they love each other and how important community is. Terrible people for what's supposed to be an underhanded, conniving show. Although perhaps things will get interesting when the group gets smaller and the money seems real...

Mocata... was that really true about Nick above? I suspected him to be a plant quite early on, but then seeing his emotions last night I begin to perhaps doubt that.

Wow Tiaka, you're sooooooo evolved! I bet you have a Kill Your TV sticker on your car too! Oops, I mean bike, cars are for us wasteful middle-American bourgeoise.

You sure posted quickly for someone who doesn't care.

I agree with tiaka generally, and I've even sent some barking emails to the BBC main news page about their constant Big Brother items.

On the other hand, there's nothing better than some lame pseudo-event in the Sun on a Friday...

williamtry: I don't know if he's a plant or what - my boss is certain that he is, and she claims to have better than bloke-down-pub evidence. I think the producers probably contrive plotlines by dropping hints to the contestants.

It probably helps that they're all so thick.
