Spyware Control Act introduced. Senator Edwards is worried about certain companies spying on you. Now, these companies might be forced to tell you what information they send back to their servers. (via grc)

Nice to see someone in Congress from North Carolina (where I live) doing something useful for a change. I'm always a cynic about such things though, because I think Congress is clueless about technological concerns.The FCC just recommended to sell you out to online advertisers. Hooray!!!
