Clinton opts not to become the first prexy since Garfield and Harding (who? kidding) not to visit Nebraska during his term in office. Obviously, he's trying to avoid the dreaded curse: "Both Garfield and Harding died before completing their terms." Coincidence or Illuminati subterfuge?

Clinton opts not to become the first prexy ... not to visit Nebraska during his term in office.

My brain jumped out the window.

Yes, I endeavored valiantly to avoid a split infinitive, and it hurt something fierce. :)

The funny thing is that Nebraska's governor bragged at the Republican convention about his state being the only one that Clinton never visited. I find it amusing that Clinton is going. Bet that Governor wishes he kept his mouth shut ;)

I live in Nebraska and I know the real reason he doesn't want to come here. He took one look at the state capitol building and shuddered at the thought of even more phallic jokes thrown his way.

Aw, that's nothing compared to Daniel Burnham's unbuilt plans for Chicago City Hall.

For some reason, just now, I thought of the new Braun Syncro System. Maybe it's the four-way moving head.
