I didn't say yours was necessarily a 'double post,' but merely pointing out related threads.

Neat!

It's too bad those other links are 404s... I remember them, and as cool as this is, they were far cooler -- Lego versions of several of Escher's most physically impossible illusions. I've been Googling for them elsewhere, but with no luck.

Is it me, or are the images more disorienting when they are in Lego form?

I'm an idiot. I thought the FPP only linked to the one image... to be fair, though, the links to the rest of them aren't exactly prominent.

This is actually the best one. I saw it years ago but the original site went away. I've been searching, off and on, for a mirror ever since, and now I've found one. (And I just made local copies of all of it.)

Anyway, it's "Ascending and Descending", another of the impossible buildings, and he did it without any Photoshop manipulation.

I'm looking forward to the minimal stage of Lego art, where it's one brick. Alone.

I've been working on this thing where I just sort of scatter the bricks across an empty space until they form tangled abstractions that somehow speak to the inchoate restless rage of our time in ways mere representation couldn't possibly manage.

Ed Harris will play me in the Lego-animated movie.

Ed Harris is made out of Legos?
