The dog mauling case in San Francisco continues to make for some bizarre news. Turns out that the possible sexual abuse of the animals did in fact happen. The dogs had also previously attacked another woman.

I'm just a little baffled. It doesn't seem to me that you'd like to have the "attack viciously until dead" type of dog involved in these ... uh ... recreational activities. Wouldn't you be more likely to seek out and train dogs to be more socialized and gentle?

Is this what Americas freedoms have become? Somehow Screwing a dog, or any other animal just doesn't spring to mind when I think of the constitution. Let's not forget the dolphin guy. 6 billion people on the planet? I can think of a few to get rid of right away.

The Yahoo/ABC News story that you link to has a major misquote of Robert Noel. According to this Matier and Ross article from February 14th, Noel said in response to the news that naked pictures of his wife were found in his newly adopted son's prison cell: "There used to be a time when guy-on-guy or woman-on-woman relationships were looked at as unnatural acts. What concern is it to anybody if there is or isn't a personal relationship?"

(The news of alleged sexual abuse of the dogs broke on February 28th.)

Now, here's a quote from the Yahoo/ABC News article.: "Referring to allegations of sexual abuse of the pets, Noel told the San Francisco Chronicle last month, 'There used to be a time when guy-on-guy or woman-on-woman relationships were looked at as unnatural acts. What concern is it to anybody if there is or isn't a personal relationship?'"

Oops. Now, I think these lawyers are slimebags. But let's get our facts straight before we jump off the cliff here.

I was once asked by a rather naive young woman why a personal ad was placed in an alternative paper that asked for an older woman without teeth to go on a "date." Why my questioner asked, would a man seek out a woman without teeth.
The dog story, true or false, sugests that the bite may well be worse than the bark.

Interestingly enough, ABCNEWS.com has removed the quote from its archived version of the article.

Never underestimate the ability of the news media to get it wrong.

And what does the Constitution have to do with screwing the pooch?

I think that forcing your dick in a dog is SOOOOO icky that words could not express it. However, it has been proven that syphilis came from a sheep, so we know this has been going on for a while.

That makes this whole thing seem even worse to me. Why would you feel the need to to that. If someone could please clear this up for me!!!

"Proven" how?

Sounds to me like there's a lot of uncertainty regarding the origins of syphilis, but I don't see any mention of sheep. Dunno, maybe I just missed it.

well not to sound like I beilieve all the stuff that people tell me, but this guy knew a lot of stuff...he spread the whole thing out for us, but I beilieved him...I dunno maybe I am wrong.

The point is that I think about things like this and then I hear about these kinds of stories, and my mind goes haywire with that thought, "If syphilis came from a sheep....what could we get from a dog? or a pig? or a cat? or whatever people feel the need to screw?

It really scares me....

I can understand why you might be nervous about things like that. All I really know is, don't clean out the cat litter pan if you're pregnant! *wink*

...aside from the amusing reference in trainspotting, toxoplasmosis really will kill some people. Or their unborn kid. Which may, or may not, be a tragedy, depending on their position re: obeying me as a God.

Is this one of the things the rant^b^b^b^barticle on kuro5hin on defending the right to pleasure is about? Just asking.

Evidence of advanced syphilis can be seen in fossils as bone deterioration. Such evidence starts being seen in archaeological specimens from the Americas, at the time of the Spanish conquest, in both humans and llamas.
