What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? (A year later, my only remark can be that cortex's defensiveness and dismissal is typical of modern white fragility backlashes and is disappointing. Deeply.)
I will likely stay out of MetaTalk and other MetaFilter politics (since in his comment, cortex made it clear he has no use for my opinions, and this frisson/friction is not isolated, just the most concrete), and mostly use this account for social networking through IRL.
I had some social justice activism stuff in my profile which I may restore for posterity. But I don't know. I'll have a think about it.
