who is this, and what have you done with our britney?
{scratches eyeballs out} The need to give some warning; the picture you will be viewing of britney looks like her mom (with a much younger looking face).

Prince made $56.5 million last year? Wow!

I wish VH1 would just change it's name to E!2. Watching Mini-Me pissing in a corner beats the "She's Like the Wind" video any day of the week, but at least MTV makes a meager attempt to include semi-music related shows in it's programming. They toured Sammy Hagar's house on Cribs.

They toured Sammy Hagar's house on Cribs.

Do you think anyone watching that Cribs realizes that Sammy was once the singer in Montrose, one of the better 70's hard-rock bands, who's namesake guitarist played on Van Morrison's Astral weeks?*

Probably not. And they probably don't care either. I'm gonna go cry in my beer.

*sound of teardrop hitting Czechvar*

* (See, Sammy's only two degrees of separation from rock greatness??!!)

I think Prince was the top selling concert act last year, and you know that's where the money is.

I totally endorse the BWE blog for finding obscure entertainment news, but the commentators are worse than aol chats. btw, mathowie linked the BWE blog in an askme thread like last year, mister chef. I've got a memory like a ninja...

I feel guilty for ever being entertained by that show, which like most of VH1's other programming, seems like paid promotional advertisements for celebrities or products (bottom of the page feature).

In 10 years people will look back at this time and realize how similar it was to the greed obsession of the 80s.

Two degrees of separation? Dude, he was once your one way ticket to midnight. Call it. Heavy. Metal.

Of course, in the interim, he was killed and replaced by robots a la Paul McCartney, but you knew that, right?

of course. But I commented anyway, because you've got to give to live.

You've got a lot to live
And PepsiBlue's got a lot to give...
Thank you, jonmc for planting that commercial earworm in my head, and by thank you, I mean fuck you...
