Hey, guys! Let's dig up some mummified crocodiles preserved by ancient Egyptian processes said to bestow eternal life, and then bombard them with ultramodern rays of some sort! What could possibly go wrong?

(Still, at least thanks to these articles we know how these people got their mummified crocodiles wedged into their scanners, and why.)

Very cool, thanks! I can see a trip to Stanford in my near future. (Used to live in London and often visited the mummies in the Brit Museum; nice to know there are relative gods nearby.)
