Someone set us up the bomb. The Bomb Project is a comprehensive on-line compendium of nuclear-related links, imagery and documentation. It makes accessible the declassified files and graphic documentation produced by the nuclear industry itself, providing a context for comparative study, analysis and creativity. Thirty-two+ US nuclear weapons accidents from 1950-1980, as well as 233+ nuclear weapon incidents (from the center for defense information link).

I guess that's how we justify having so many live nuclear warheads -- I mean, we're bound to lose a couple to fires during simulated take-off exercises.
