I'm not a big Shawn Colvin fan, but her version of "This Must Be The Place" really works. Ever since seeing the stunningly great performance in Stop Making Sense it's been one of my favorite songs.

Arcade Fire and Trevor Green's versions of Naive Melody are OK, but the rest really don't seem to get it. It's not Naive Melody if it's somber.

I really like MGMT's joyful cover of Naive Melody.
I saw that the other day after finding the folk covers, if there was ever a cover that invoked the sense of fun from Stop Making Sense, it has to be this.

Miles Fisher's video for This Must Be The Place is pretty much the best thing ever. Which is difficult considering that the original song is also pretty much the best thing ever.

Thank you so much for this. This Must Be The Place is one of my favorite Talking Heads songs ever, and now I'm swimming in cover versions. (I'd also like to second whoever linked to the Miles Fisher video. That cover is fantastic.)
