My favorite is when they really get into it and pull out the "EEEWW"

Showcasing mostly Los Angeles based hip hop dancers, the 3 Dancers Choreograph To The Same Song videos shows off fun moves and even more fun reactions as the dancers react with disbelief and delight to footage of their fellow choreographers' chosen moves. Highlights: Mikey DellaVella, Teej Medallo, & Kat Dizon to “Usually” by DaniLeigh; Carlo Darang, Isidro Rafael, and Junna Yagi to “RNP” by YBN Cordae; and Danyel Moulton, Jonathan Sison, and Andie Zazueta to “Pony” by DaBaby. Content note: song lyrics contain profanity.

Curious about how many ewwwwws are peppered through the reactions?
Youtube comments to the rescue! "Dancers always watch other dancers with a disgusted face when they're good lmaoooo!!!"

Thanks for this post - I've seen a couple of these when they popped up on YouTube and loved them.

That was terrific. Impressions from this old non-dancer:

I love how supportive these guys are. Like I'm sure they are all super competitive but they are constantly talking about how amazing the other dancers are, smiling and oohing and ahhhing when they see a move they like

I also love how sometimes they don't even bother trying to talk about what they are seeing, they just unconsciously mimic the moves they just saw

I don't think they even realize how jargon-packed their language is. It's fun to guess what that insidery stuff means.

I plan on incorporating the congratulatory "Ewwww!" in my life. I expect mixed results.

Love these! Missing my dance community, but seeing all the joy and interpretations is contagious. I recommend the couples choreography as well.

gwint, it makes me so happy to how excited and complimentary they are. I also meant to post this video, which had the reactions live, during the performance, as an inset video:

From the comments: "The krumpers hyping the waackers was honestly the most pure thing ever."

I don't know anything about dance and I'm not much into music, but I enjoyed this, thank you.

That Jonathan Sisson was impressive, does he have a human body or is he an alien?

Yesss. These were so fun and I love all the ways to make a stink face when you see your compatriots doing good shit. The grooves were on point.

Thanks for sharing this! It inspires me to pick up some of my own long-dormant choreography projects. I really appreciate the peer-affirmation and interview-snippet aspects of these videos - it's great to see them praise each other and talk about things like their musicality, style, and background. I hope this format catches on for other dance styles too. I'd love to see "three dancers, one song" videos for belly dance, modern, and/or jazz dance.
