WELCOME TO DREAM WIKI
FOR A DREAM WIKI IT'S NOT REALLY ABOUT
DREAMS JUST YET... OR EVER.
AND IT'S PROBABLY NOT A WIKI, EITHER.
TO NAVIGATE THESE CURRENTS AND
CORRIDORS YOU NEED TO BE SOMEWHAT FALSE
YOURSELF, IF THERE IS SUCH A THING.
IT'S ABOUT NOT PLAYING YOUR HAND UNTIL
IT'S BENEFICIOUS. IT'S ABOUT PRETENDING
NOT TO NOTICE SO THAT YOU CAN BE WHERE
YOU HAVE TO BE FOR THE NEXT STEP.

now i know i'm just the dream of a butterfly about to awake and flutter away beating starting a sequence that begats a cyclone that will solve so many problems in a sad way

I had been reading Mircea Cărtărescu's extravagantly oneiric novel Blinding which had set my mind spinning. Putting the book down I picked up my phone and found these links, and now my mind is spinning in a different direction and I feel agreeably giddy. Many thanks for the post, forbiddencabinet.

At last ! ... a recreation to play with as I lay dying and incommunicado from my final stroke. All along I had imagined that I preferred it to be while on a solo hike, fallen onto some personally unexplored jungly floor, being feasted on by creatures whose divine purpose was precisely that. But right now, Iʻm suddenly much preferring the extended-decline-in-a-hospice scenario, with only a laptop connecting me to a receding external world. I could while away the dimming time exploring all the crannies of this wonderful composition. Like the next hike, no end in sight.

Not, of course, that I have a real choice in any of the above.

Please excuse the happy morbidity. I do still love being alive. And big mahalos for the post.

I'm not far in enough yet to know what's going on, but this is interesting and captures the way dreaming feels, at least some of the time. Thanks!
