What I like is the ivotedsticker is unlike a campaign button, it tells the truth.

Awww and I just moved away from the county.

I voted even though I don't live in the county; I voted for one of the other options that was showing 0% of the votes because I didn't want another 13-year-old to feel bad that her work got shafted. (Also I liked it better.)

I like that the election commissioner is totally down with this. There's no air of "oh god the joke option got a zillion votes from bored people well outside our community and we are gonna have to try and retroactively figure out which votes should actually count, or just accept that we will be running Bumpy Stumbles Stadium for the next twenty years".

This post caused me to vote. I went for one of the unpopular ones because I am boring.

I am not in Ulster county, but I could still vote.

Vote early and often.

Yeah, Ulster County! Can't wait to get my I voted sticker this November :)

Hooray, Ulster County! We have quite a few pockets of weird and fun and generally not as stuffy as across the river.

A nice starting point. Now imagine City Hall replaced with Enterprise Resource Planning Software. The people vote, and the software dispassionately implements and administers.
This is the way.

I was expecting Voty McVoteface, but I actually really like the entry. I don't know if it's a timeless teenage edgelord style or a intentional throwback to the early aughts, but it looks a lot like some of the doodles my artistically-inclined friends used to make in middle school. Very charming!

I voted for Melissa's sticker, because I really liked it, and it'll probably upset the kind of people I like upsetting.

Online voting available for the non-online voting system's accouterment and decor better have some pretty great content ...

... yeah that's pretty, pretty, pretty good, Melissa. Although I do like the eagle's snappy side-eye.

And I like that Shafil added "TODAY" where the other's fell short on this important touch. Although it does render the meaning troubling short lived in realism after that day but before the next public election.

a timeless teenage edgelord style

Vaguely curious as to how many "deez nuts voted today" entries there were.

I'm in Ulster and I very much cannot wait to get my sticker. It's got 93% of the vote at this point.

(This has been a day where, for boring work-related reasons, I've sat down at a bunch of different computers. Each time I do, I pull up the Ulster County site and then vote for whichever kid currently has the least votes.)

That sticker portrays exactly how I, an introvert, feel after I get home from voting.

And people wonder why politicians are against voting reform.

Some years ago I took my utilitarian I Voted sticker and turned it into a button pin. Then I took a black Sharpie and wrote FOR HER at the bottom and wore it for four years.

Hey, dannyboybell, I'm just voting for what I believe in!!! And I believe in stickers that don't have giant spiders on them!!!!!!!

[I voted for Shafil Shabir's; I actually like it but it is what a spider-endorser might characterize as stodgy. Just say no to spiders.]

For the majority of business-as-usual functions, the ERP system would be plumbed directly into the city's infrastructure, to directly sense and regulate operations. The system supports task dispatch to bureaucrats and technicians over SMTP, and exposes usable web interfaces to streamline task-specific data entry.

For abnormal situations, such as discussions with local political figures and lobbyists, disciplinary hearings, etc, the ERP system's long term planning / strategy / negotiation plugin would come into play. In these situations, to interface more naturally with human stakeholders, and help increase the likelihood of outcomes that are favourable to the city, the ERP system can listen, gesture, speak, chitter and hiss using its impressively lifelike and hypnotically colourful humanoid head. To maximise the number of face-to-face meetings per day that can be attended, the system's head is equipped with six legs for independent autonomous navigation between meeting rooms, according to its schedule (microsoft outlook calendar integration is recommended). Navigation is limited by the length of installed hybrid-spinal-coaxial cabling between the base of the head and the ERP system's primary mainframe.

Man, I’m a total kill joy but this really brings me back to trying really hard for something and having it overlooked because the class clown put little to no effort in and then receives general acclaim. (Especially because “women aren’t funny” so it was always the girls/women working hard and the guys coming in with the fart jokes.)

Anyway, I voted for Phoebe’s.

Where I live in Washington State, we've been vote-by-mail only for quite a while now. For the most part, I like it, because it's super easy to vote, and I can take as much time as I want researching the issues and candidates while filling out my ballot. I did miss the "I Voted" stickers we used to get at the polling places, and so I was thrilled when I found a sticker enclosed in my most recent ballot! I think all the entries are great, but I love the chaos of Hudson's entry. It's like looking in a mirror.

I'm going with timeless. The style reminds me of EC horror comics, the monster craze, "Big Daddy" Roth, and album covers by The Misfits. I don't think it was intentional, just an adolescent boys' aesthetic passed down from generation to generation.
