The 1 Second Film. 12 giant frames. One giant movie. 90 minutes of credits. All profits to the Global Fund for Women. It's all part of a plan.

A plan that prominently features Andy Dick on the front page of the website. Ouch.

I kind of want to like this, but i can't seem to find a reason to try. And yes, Andy Dick makes it even harder.

Consarnit! I searched for both the phrase and the URL, and it didn't come up! Rats rats rats. I apologize.

Julie Taymor and Albert Maysles are on the Board of Directors? Mih? Yes? No?

"The one-second film consists of 12 giant frames (9ft x 5ft paintings) made simultaneously by hundreds of participants during an all-night event."

I think this is the part that never makes sense to me. I get raising money, I get the credits bit. But the actual 1 second . . . I just don't know about that.

And yes, Andy Dick makes it even harder.

And "executive producer" Tom Arnold makes it really, really hard.

Can't you just get a room and some Rosanne DVDs?

A 5 Phase Plan for a 1 Second Movie?

They must've learned budgeting from Hollywood accountants. Call me cynical, but I predict the GFf Women aren't getting top line money.

I can see that paulsc has been hurt before.

I'd like to participate, but I just don't like women.
