Boxmen. A bit late for Flash Friday, but not a bad way to spend some time on a Sunday evening.

This version loaded a lot faster for me (as in, I started googling for a copy while the first one was loading, and the one on Kongregate finished first).

<spoiler>

This entire game is a spoiler for that one really difficult level in Braid.

The levels before Leapfrog: Neat.
Leapfrog: Wow, this is hard and kinda clever.
The next level: Kinda annoying, but not too hard.
The next level: Stupid. *closes browser*

DU, that's precisely how I reacted, except I think one level further. The difficulty ramp goes just about vertical, and you end up wasting ridiculous amounts of time, because you either die or your clones don't do the right thing because you're off by a pixel. Get a single thing wrong by even the tiniest iota, and you have to start the whole level over.

Not fun.

Give it another shot, DU, that stupid level's not that hard.

The last one is, though. Incredibly frustrating timing and placement on that one.

Perhaps I spoke too soon.

The last couple of levels are right on the edge of annoying. I didn't need the walkthrough for the last level like i did for some earlier ones - but the timing was really tight.

Cute and happy game, though, and the music was really, really happiness-inducing!

Well, I had fun. Leapfrog wasn't my problem spot though. Level 10, Race, was the one that really got me. I wound up looking at the walkthrough just to find that what I was doing was right, just I wasn't timing it it quite right.

Yeah, you die a lot. But the whole game took me like an hour to get through, which felt about right.

Hell, in Australia, it's even a bit late for Sunday evening.
[will play when I get home from work]

I adore the style and I think the idea of using the Boxmen in different ways is great, but it's just too difficult for me to enjoy it past a certain point. I'd love a sequel that focused more on puzzles and less on reflexes.

Invisible level is making me curse a lot. also I second more puzzles less reflexes.

Level 9 (invisible level) is twisted.
...

Oh screw this. L10, I'm done. Ugh.

Dang it, 11 is really killing me!

Well, that was really fun. Didn't feel like a "reflexes" game to me, for some reason, although precision timing was very important... figuring out exactly when to set something up was part of the puzzle! Very much fun, great art style, and I loved the music.
