I thought his performance was a real highlight in the We Are One celebration. What a wonderful voice and a really tight group of backing singers. His spotlighting them at the end felt very generous in a relaxed sort of way-- just a really lovely musical moment, all around.

Thank you so much this is the best thing I’ve seen today and for a long time.
The act of including the children made it extra special.

This is art that really speaks to me. And I always have an appreciation for acts that adopt a unified visual presentation & aesthetic. The production pace seems hell bent on youtube algo- which seems like a recipe for burn out. On the upside it tends towards a spare sound which I prefer to some of the more elaborate work, like that Tiny Desk Concert.
Here's the referenced I need you to (Breonna Taylor) and his track Try Jesus. Both brilliant, and short.

That was really nice, thank you Lexica.
I was just thinking about Teddy P the other day. It's 10 years since his passing. But it seems more like 100 years.

That was really beautiful. And I agree -- the loving inclusion of the kids and all their chaos brought some extra peace and joy.
