What a great story. My father is also gay, but didn't come out until we were teenagers. Gay and lesbian parents are a hugely growing population, and it's extraordinary the lengths and loops they sometimes have to go through to finally bring babby home. Those kids are definitely loved and cared for and wanted.

Quite a tough journey. Maybe if he'd just put an ad in the Guardian personals he would have found someone willing to have his baby for him and got it done much more easily. Maybe not.

Families are all shapes and sizes - this is a great story affirming this.

Great story (though it ended kind of abruptly.) How lucky that child is to be wanted so much.
