Glitter's pop career ended in 1999 when he was convicted of making indecent images of children under 16 between January and November 1997.

I believe his career was over waaaaay before that.

The Gang Show was still doing their Christmas tours before he was arrested, they were regular sell outs AFAIK.

I don't blame them. This Mariah Carey crapfest should be banned from all countries.

The Minister for Women's Affairs, Mu Sochua, has been urging deportation of sex tourists for several years, not (apparently) always successfully. It's rather interesting that she's being listened to in this case.

The only reason they are asking him to leave is that the British media created a huge stink, they should leave the guy alone (unless he's out there to fuel his habit that is)

An interesting counterpoint: Cambodia frees cannibalism suspects, since eating dead bodies is not actually illegal.
